The Cora Dress

The Cora Dress is designed in natural fabrics and kantha work done on the border of the dress. Remembering Nakshi Kantha sewn by the village women of Bengal for the upper class people who used to have the kantha works done on their quilts. The lavish hand-done thread work, then considered as the leisure recreation of the rural women, has been taking global platform over the years in fashion world. The subtle floral motifs on the border are done on white khadi base with running kantha stitches as we see on the actual kanthas.
